Live Streaming FAQ

What is DartsOn Live Streaming?
DartsOn Live Streaming turns a game scored in the app into a live web scoreboard. Open it on another screen or share it with other people, and they can follow the score as the match happens. This works great if you want to put your current scores on a TV, tablet or laptop.
How do I put my darts scoreboard on a TV?
Start live sharing for your game in DartsOn, then open the shared link in a browser on your TV or on a device connected to it. You can also use your usual screen-mirroring or casting setup to show the browser view on a larger display.
Do viewers need the DartsOn app?
No. Viewers can open the live link in a web browser on a TV, computer, tablet, or phone. Only the person scoring the game needs DartsOn.
What does the live scoreboard show?
The scoreboard shows each player's remaining score, whose turn it is, darts in the current visit, three-dart averages, legs and sets, and the current state of the match.
Can people follow the game from somewhere else?
Yes. Share the live game link or code with friends and family and they can follow the match remotely in their browser while you play.
Does live streaming need an internet connection?
Yes. The scoring device needs an internet connection to send match updates, and each viewer needs a connection to receive them in the browser.
Which games work with live streaming?
The live scoreboard currently supports X01 matches, including common formats such as 301 and 501.
