Standard Cricket Rules

Cricket uses only 7 targets: 20, 19, 18, 17, 16, 15, and Bullseye. Players must “close” all numbers while accumulating the highest score to win.

Winning: Close all cricket numbers AND have the highest points. Optionally if there’s a round limit set and if no one achieves this after all rounds, highest score wins.

Double2 marks×
Triple3 marks⊗ (closed)

Closing: A number is closed when it has 3 marks total.

Scoring Rules

Number Becomes Invalid

Example Round

Player hits: Single 20, Triple 20, Single 20

  1. First dart: Single 20 → 1 mark (/)
  2. Second dart: Triple 20 → 2 more marks = 3 total (⊗ closed) + 20 points scored
  3. Third dart: Single 20 → 20 points scored (number already closed)

Result: Number 20 closed, 40 points total

Strategy Considerations

Key Decision: Close numbers early (risk falling behind in points) OR build point lead first (risk opponents closing numbers)?

Choose your approach based on opponent behavior and game situation.

Scoring Metrics

MPR (Marks Per Round): Average marks earned per three-dart turn - primary cricket skill measurement
