Round the World Rules - How to Play
Round the World is a simpler take on Around the Clock. Hit 1, then 2, and so on up to 20, then finish on the bull. Every number needs just one hit in any ring, which makes it a quick game for beginners and warm-ups.
How to play
- Take turns throwing 3 darts.
- Everyone starts on 1. Any part of the number counts, whether single, double, or triple.
- As soon as you hit your number, aim your next dart at the next one. A good turn can move you on 3 numbers.
- A miss leaves you on the same number. Pick up where you left off on your next turn.
- After 20, hit the bull to finish. Either the outer bull or the bullseye counts.
There are no points. Keep track of the number each player needs next.
How to win
The first player to hit every number from 1 to 20 and then the bull wins.
How it differs from Around the Clock
Round the World keeps the race and drops the extras. Each number needs 1 hit in any ring, the finish is always one hit on either bull, and there are no bonus turns or bullseye playoff. For multiple hits per number, doubles-only or triples-only games, or an extended finish, play Around the Clock.
