Half It Rules - How to Play

Half It is a target-based darts game where players aim at assigned targets each round and score points by hitting them. Miss all three darts in a round, and your entire score gets halved.

Winning: Highest score after all 9 rounds.

How to Play

1. All players start with 40 points
2. Players take turns throwing three darts per turn
3. Each round assigns a specific target to aim for
4. Hit the target at least once to score points for that round
5. Miss all three darts and your current score is halved (rounded down)
6. After 9 rounds, the highest score wins

Round Sequence (Standard)

1	15	Any hit on 15 (S15, D15, T15)
2	16	Any hit on 16 (S16, D16, T16)
3	Doubles	Any double on the board (D1-D20, D25)
4	17	Any hit on 17 (S17, D17, T17)
5	18	Any hit on 18 (S18, D18, T18)
6	Triples	Any triple on the board (T1-T20)
7	19	Any hit on 19 (S19, D19, T19)
8	20	Any hit on 20 (S20, D20, T20)
9	Bull	Inner or outer bull (25 or 50)

Scoring

• Hit: Add the dart’s face value to your score (number × multiplier)
  • Example: D18 = 36 points added
• Miss all 3 darts: Your current score is halved
  • Example: Score of 120 → 60
• Partial hit: As long as you hit at least once, there’s no penalty - all hits count

Strategy Tips

• Protect your score - Even one hit prevents halving, so prioritize accuracy over big scores
• Doubles and Triples rounds are dangerous - These targets are small; focus on hitting any one rather than a specific number
• Bull round is make-or-break - As the final round, a halving here can be devastating
• Build a lead early - High scores on 15-18 give you a cushion for tougher rounds
